Subcontractor Vetting & Supply Chain Policy

How we check every contractor before they work for us.

Version 1.0 · Last updated 9 October 2026

Vetting

Every contractor must pass identity and right-to-work checks, hold at least £1m public liability insurance (higher where a job or client requires it) and, for regulated work, a valid trade registration. Documents are checked for authenticity, name match and expiry, with manual inspection of anything uncertain.

Ongoing checks

Expiry dates are monitored and reminders sent 30 days ahead. Contractors with missing or expired documents are automatically blocked from receiving work.

Quality

Completed work is reviewed, and feedback and callbacks are tracked to keep standards high.
